159.8 million votes cast. This was the highest percentage voter turnout since 1900.
Biden 68.6 million, Trump 65.9 million, Other 2.1 million.
Its the 2.1 million who voted for the fringe that really ticks me off. This was not the election to exercise the right to cast an “other” vote. Those were Trump votes.
There are 330 million people in the US. Less than a 5th of the population voted for Trump.
And we know the GOP has been really busy at voter suppression and intimidation in high electoral college numbers battleground states.
Trump’s stock behavior of accusing his opponents/enemies of crimes he is doing has been slathered all through his campaign. He accused the Dems of voter fraud all the while his GOP enablers were pulling up mailboxes, limiting the number of ballot drop offs in blue counties in Texas and in other states, passing legislation making it incredibly complicated for mail in and absentee ballots to be considered legitimate, the list goes on and on. Not to mention the call to arms for “Poll Watchers”, a few of whom have reportedly heckled voters on their way in to vote.
Mail in and absentee ballots are being counted in PA. they are being slammed with criticism. There is a theory it might swing for Biden.
Trump has started his shit storm. Wants a Wisconsin recount. Biden won it by 20k votes according to today’s data. He has been after PA for some time and I can only imagine what he is going to vomit should PA flip for Biden.
We knew he would not go quietly into Defeat.
