Tea With Me: 6th December, 2018 Thursday

6th December, 2018 Thursday

Zoi left in her Zoi Chariot off to Goddess Roamer and Lord with Husband driving.  He braved the gray and cold and ribbon road to and from Puppy Show Boot Camp.  Like I said, I am a nervous Zoi Mama.  I hope she is happy when she goes to the show.  And I am not going to be there.

Husband leaves for his Papa visit tomorrow and he picks his NY Sis up at the airport on his way.  He comes back Sunday.  I can feel his rev already.

Off my kitchen window is a now leafless maple something which has a lovely crop of maple seedling wingy things.  The other morning I came down to do the morning with my Zoo and in the canopy of this now naked maple was the biggest Doug fir Squirrel boy hunkered on the tiniest twig munching on one of those seedling wings but because he was about a foot from the window I had just appeared in, he was frozen in the munching crouch with his impossibly little hands holding one of those lovely little maple seedling wings.  And then he heard the dogs in the yard so he scrammed as fast as a squirrel can.  All of this took place in a nano second.   No mind time to think of fumbling with the camera app on my phone.

But the next morning, there he was again.  Obviously his favored breakfast bush.  He ran away from his branches down the route to home which has the road of porch railing and he stopped to look at me.  We acknowledged eachother for enough time for me to pull my phone out of wherever it was and find the camera app and point it at his handsome form.  He is quite beautiful.

Tea was green jasmine and tomorrow I will find myself without human companionship.   My littlest duckle is off to vet for shots and an exam which will reveal how bad her teeth need to be debrided.

I went up to bed last night and found the Zoo scattered all across my bedroom.

Ta.
