Tea With Me: 16th November, 2018 Friday

16th November, 2018 Friday

Dream Kite flew high enough for it fly right on by. Got nothing lingering in my morning brain.

The Mighty Dachshund neglected to relieve her tanks at last night’s last opportunity so she woke me up this morning with a whispering bark. I swear by all that’s holy, this dog whose unrelenting yap could raise the Dead, whisper yaps when she knows Husband is in the room asleep or trying to. Anyway, she was announcing only to me that she just had to pee so I needed to get up and out of bed before the light had come to greet the day. OK. Its one of those.

Youngest called a little after 10am having just walked out of a midterm which she experienced that Freeze, you all know that Freeze that overtakes when something you are supposed to know or do just ain’t greatly loaded in your system’s gun and the buck stops right on that piece of paper or in that conversation. We’ve all had it, all done it, all blown it or not, and moved on down the line. Well, Youngest, one of human’s finest, has the conscience of a Saint, and therefore needs to feel she has done her super best at everything. She was fine and just a little rattled and knew what she had to do to be ok. I am glad she called.

“I am not an enemy of betterment”

Day gamuted the weather spectrum, a little inside too. Settled now.

So Deerhound Continent is also quite content to mind me when it suits.

Sometimes we have to do it again because we need to do it better than we have. And until we get the lesson, we are somehow given it over and over again.

Tea was jasmine green.

As I was getting up, the sun lit my scarred and wind riot oak last golden leaves.

Ta.
