Tea With Me: 28th October, 2018 Sunday

28th October, 2018 Sunday

Dark it was when sleep drifted off my eyes. Big weather. Rain. Clouds. Mist. Choked the light of day. But Zoi’s internal clock went off just the same. 7:15 and awake she was and ready to go out into the dim. So down we trailed.

The house was dark enough to switch on lights. The dogs all came back in a rush. The rain and cold had chased them swiftly back inside. We watched the morning rise together from the Keystone Couch.

It was a grey dim wet day. Husband and I made brunch and sat and watched the day and Bill Maher. A rainbow did appear. And then a great raging squall came up, the heavens poured a waterfall upon the house for only 5 minutes and then another rainbow did appear arching the other way.

So Zoi’s adventure yesterday was quite the big big thing. She went to Dog Show just to walk around. It was a show in the great big Hall with many many dogs. She did just fine walking in the doors and then she realized where she was and had to have a sit down. Oh boy oh boy. But we just kept on walking and she got right up and went.

We had a time of it. Walking up and down and when I felt the leash get tight I just kept pulling her on until the leash went slack. She did just fine.

Goddess Roamer did arrive with the lovely Wire Duckle Ivy who she was to show. Ivy is a knockout, for sure for sure.

Goddess Roamer did decide to walk out Malinita through her paces. Up and back they went and then did stack. I was so pleased given that Malinita has not been trotted like that for sometime. Goddess Roamer gave us exercises to do at home about the turning close. I am to tell her “Right” when turning to the right and “Left” when turning to the left. That is if I can remember at the time if I am turning left or right. I tend to have the other left and other right a lot.

We had a sleepy day.

Some think they have it right and know what’s right for all.

Tea was Earled.
