23rd October, 2018 Tuesday
The day dawned. Sun lit the flaming trees. The dogs went out and I made tea and sat upon the Keystone Couch and witnessed yet another dawn.
Eldest off to her first day called while ribboning East along the Gorge. This first day recalled for me that first day of her being in a classroom far away back when she was so very small and would not let me leave her. She was excited for the first today. Learning how to teach a class on webcam and all the ways that would be strange and challenge.
Husband once again was off to see his father. He drove away a bit before the middle of the day. He was quite cheered and seemed much easier about the thought of spending time with Papa.
I practiced Kundalini Yoga for a bit with lots of Breath of Fire and a great good stretch.
A kind lady came to see if she could take care of our pack so we might go away somewhere sometime in the future without Dog. Yes, sometimes it is good to do. We will sometime in the future.
All members of the pack were sweet with her and she was dear with them. I have concern about how small she is relative to how big some of them are. But she seems to be game for the task. We will do a day of trial soon.
Eldest came back home and told me of her day. She had had a truly fine one. She was happy and SIL was calling her from the forest out along the Coast.
Husband called after he and Papa had done dinner. They had had a fine good time. I am glad. He sounded downright cheery. That is something new after time with Dad.
I must off to sleep in the bed without the body on the other side of it.
