Tea With Me: 12th October, 2018 Friday

12th October, 2018 Friday

Tea was green and dawn brought forth a cloudless crystal shimmer gold day.

Dream kite flew way to high to grab its tale.

Husband greeted day with notice that our radiant floor manifold sprung a leak last night warranting a bucket. So I scrolled through foggy memory and contact list trying to find the Magic Radiant Man and Voila, on text thread on computer with the guy who helped me find this house I found the phone number.

Magic Radiant Man came last December and cleaned the belly of the Radiant Heart. He turned around and told me it probably had never been cleaned. But he knew his stuff. Watching him look at the engineering room of this house ship I felt him diagraming all the multitude of wires and pipes that just look like strange spider species output all over those walls to me. Yes, he knows what he is doing.

Husband had brought all the finest tools to fix the leaky pipe and indeed had tightened up the pipe but had not turned it tight enough to stop the Radiant Spring. Magic Radiant Man used the very same tools but turned with just a bit more muscles. Husband watched and learned a lot and Magic Radiant Man plotted how to bring the ancient web of wires and pipes up to modern readability. He will come back.

I drove around today with Zoi in her chariot. My ribbon road wound South and North and both of my Volcanoes said hello. Their snow hats are restored since the parade of clouds have let their fountains flow in the last few weeks. I have to say I was reminded once again at why this place seduced me.

As the day wore on, the Wind Gods revved their legendary engines and I watched leaves fly parallel to earth. Its the first blow of this season. There will be more. These autumn blows are all about the swift exchange of leafed to bare, and gilded carpets all across the ground.

As day turned dim and Zoi and Wizard were released to pee, they raced eachother and the leaves across the dark. I watched them fleeting through the patches of light shining from the new lights in the house and thought its a Halloween night. Happy Fall.

And while we ended day on the Keystone Couch, the Duckles slept enrapt. The way they wedge their furry forms together touches deep inside my heart. Something about their peace defines my being home.

Ta.
