Tea With Me: 17th September, 2018 Monday

17th September, 2018 Monday

Its hard this morning.

Husband is to leave to visit his Papa.  Duty and the Right Thing.  It is that last chapter early on.  Father son.  Bless them.  Bring them Loving Light and Peace.

Some leaves have goldened up.  Others’ greens have moved a tinge away from summer’s shade.  We talk about the change, is it real or not.  This summer’s anvil hot just sucked.  White noise of Ac robots cluttering my rooms.  Hard hard hot.  But Fire did not happen.  Thank you Gods.  Smoke a bit but not too bad.  We all are kinda ready for the flinch in case the shift is just a tease but I think not.

West of us cotton stuffs the Gorge but to our East the sky is blue with swirly high cobwebs.  Here at the house there is no sun yet.  Flat light.  A Fuguey taste out there and inside today.

But Sunday Market time was good for all.  Super Zoi did don her scarlet leash cape, my pocket full of Super Treats, her chariot pulled in and I got out to usher her to another world of lets get over it.  She took a look and said this ain’t what I thought and sat her lovely butt right down and wouldn’t budge.  I turned around and tugged but this was not gonna happen.  Super Zoi didn’t want to brave?  In my pocket I did fish, just in case this might tempt, a Super Treat and she did chew it right away and hopped right out trotting.

Does she have my number?  I think she might.

Sunday Market is quite small.  SIL is all set up with brand new signs and Chicken is a flying out his coolers.  He has figured it all out.  He shines a lot when he is happy.  He always wants to make it work, that SIL.  We are so lucky, yes we are.

Super Zoi has one full stop.  I look to see what it might be that has her warning  radar up.  I cannot see it but she does.  Hugging and another treat and somehow what it was is gone and off she trots to investigate her new scene.

We stop and talk and wander to stop and talk and wander more and she is fine and Dandy.

She has decided my lap is where she wants to nap so its a little hard to tap.

Goat Milk Lady Fine is there and I do love her shine.  We hug and chat and she has beef liver from her cows who graze across good good land.  Its a liver time of year and these livers are so clean.  When Husband comes back home we will have that liver.  He’ll just be gone two days.

My dreams, well one was that I put an extra blanket on my Mama while she was in bed with my sleeping Papa.  I thought she might be cold.  She thanked me very much and said she wasn’t.

In another scene I have a stack of photos that were hers and I am trying to keep them from the water dripping off the ceiling of the attic I am in.

In another scene I am with a family with two half grown kids, a Brother and a Sister, visiting a house they are only staying in.  There is some great big talk between all of them, big big discuss of something they are all smart about.  Then Sister, turns to me and picks me up  and stands me on a high counter table thing and I am expected to expound now on this wobbly stage.  I walk across it testing whether I will fall.  I am a bit astounded they want my words to mingle up with theirs.  I am not as good as them.

After Market we came home and did our Sunday afternoon thing.  A brunch of sorts and some series we can binge for hours.

Super Zoi needs a special bath these days for stuff on her tummy so she and I went down the stairs to the tubby room and I did lift her rangy wary form into the tub and she stood oh so still while the water wet her tum and the special soap was rubbed and then she had to stand a while.  And she did.  I hugged kissed and told her how good she was.  I tried to shoot her with my phone and missed.  She kissed me while we waited for the time to pass and then I washed her off.  Got her out the tub and toweled her rubbing back and forth her frothy frothy curls a swirling.  Her tail is so very very long.  Its like a wedding train the way she carries it sashaying as she trots.  I rub along it and realize there is a spot of soap I did not water off.  Can I coax her in that tub again?  I lift her front legs off the floor and she found the edge of tub with feet that pushed against it saying, “No, please, no.”  And I hugged her once again and slowly asked her paws to lift and descend and she did walk her other half back in that scary tub.  Water on and tested for its heat, adjust and hose that soapy spot and then we’re done.  She steps right out of tub just like The Lady that she is into a waiting towel.  I am so happy to be her chief attendant.  Super Lady Zoi.

Have to bathe again today.  I will bring the Super Treats.  That will make it better, yes it will.  She has my number.

After bath, Husband had arrived from brunch forage out and about.  As we left the tub room, she did find him and received that special hug she loves.

Then food and Keystoned we sunk in and the furries then climbed in.  We are always tucked in by them.  The sprinkle all about us.

Tea is Earled Honeyed Creamed.  Thanks for being here, those of you who came.

Ta.
